Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying met visiting governor of Heilongjiang Province Lu Hao at the Government House today to exchange views on issues of mutual concern, the city government's news website said.
Leung said that Heilongjiang possesses great development potential in commerce and trade and Hong Kong has established a close working relationship with northeastern province over the years.
He said Hong Kong has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and talents in service industries and could share its experience with Heilongjiang.
Leung expressed the hope that Hong Kong and Heilongjiang could make use of the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement to continue to deepen trade.—Xinhua
