Ukraine deal sets stage for coalition

A preliminary deal due to be signed today between Ukraine's embattled President Viktor Yanukovych and the opposition includes changes to the constitution, a coalition government and early presidential elections in December, television report said.
The agreement, due to be initialled at noon local time according to the Ukraine presidency, would see the country revert to the 2004 constitution within 48 hours and a formation of a coalition government within 10 days, privately-owned Ukrainian 1+1 channel said.—AFP
