Thai cop gunned down in Bangkok

One police officer was shot dead and several others wounded during clashes with anti-government protesters in the chaotic That capital Bangkok today, an official said.
Police told AFP one policeman was shot dead and four were injured, adding that one of the casualties was seriously injured by shrapnel from an explosion.—AFP
