Govt urged to revoke club leases

A government housing adviser says the leases of one or two sports clubs should be revoked to show the administration is serious about forcing such clubs to open their facilities for public use.
Economist Dr Andy Kwan Cheuk-chiu was speaking after Legco's Public Accounts committee strongly criticized the Home Affairs Bureau for dragging its feet over reviewing the leases of clubs that occupy government land rent-free or at low cost. --RTHK
