HK skater outraged over lack of support
(02-11 17:58)

Hong Kong's lone winter Olympian has lashed out at local Olympic officials for refusing to bring a team doctor to Sochi. Barton Liu Pan-To accused them of virtually ignoring him in the run-up to his short-track speed skating event.
He was eliminated after finishing fifth out of six in the qualifying heats of the 1,500 metre race. He said that old injuries and muscle pain prevented him from being at his physical peak.
But there was no team doctor to help him, because he was told that the quota for the SAR delegation had already been filled. --RTHK
