(NBA) Blazers edge Knicks

The Portland Trail Blazers edged the New York Knicks 94-90 on Wednesday to avoid their second straight loss.
Nicolas Batum had 20 points and 10 rebounds, Wesley Matthews scored 18 points.
All-Star power forward LaMarcus Aldridge got 15 points, including a key jump shot which kept the Blazers' leading by four with 35 seconds left. Another Blazers All-Star Damian Lillard had 12 points.
Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 26 points, but he failed to score in the fourth quarter. J.R. Smith contributed 18 points from the bench. --Xinhua
