Watsons may move HQ out of HK: report
(02-06 12:14)

Hutchison Whampoa (0013) is reportedly considering moving the headquarters of its healthcare retail business, Watsons, from Hong Kong to Britain in order to carry out simultaneous initial public offerings for the company in both places.
A report by Britain's Sky News said if Watsons moved its headquarters to the country, it would stand a higher chance of being listed there.
It also said it may then consider asking former British trade minister Lord Davies or former HSBC chairman John Bond to become its chairman. The report added that Singapore also wanted Watsons to list in the city-state. --RTHK
