Convoy of journalists bombed in Philippines

Suspected members of the rogue group Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) attacked a convoy carrying television journalists on Tuesday afternoon in southern Philippines.
Local radio station DZMM reported that the journalists were on their way to inspect former strongholds of the BIFF in Maguindanao province when they heard a loud explosion.
No casualties were immediately reported following the explosion and authorities are now investigating the incident. --Xinhua
