Hang Seng slumps by break

Hong Kong shares sank 1.37 percent in the morning session on Thursday after preliminary data indicated manufacturing activity in China contacted in January.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index fell 315.98 points to 22,766.27 on turnover worth HK$36.34 billion. --AFP
