Tokyo tumbles at mid day

Stocks in Tokyo tumbled 2.05 percent, tracking a drop on Wall Street after weaker-than-expected US jobs data. The benchmark Nikkei-225 index was down 326.17 points to 15,585.89 by the break, while the Topix index of all first-section issues fell 1.58 percent, or 20.56 points, to 1,277.92.—AFP
