Consumer watchdog slams Carefree Travel over sales malpractices

The Consumer Council publicly slammed travel club Carefree Travel for failing to provide services it promised to members.
The consumer watchdog received 75 complaints that members paid an annual fee of about HK$,2400 as membership fees.
The council said it has already referred the cases to police and customs to further probe.
