Hang Seng gains, Shanghai falls

Stocks in Hong Kong climbed 0.54 percent at the start of trade as investors tracked a rally on Wall Street. The benchmark Hang Seng Index gained 122.03 points to 22,834.81 in the first few minutes.
In Shanghai, shares were down 0.15 percent in morning trade. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 3.17 points to 2,044.15.—AFP
