MTR offers Year of Horse special tickets
(01-07 13:28)

The MTR Corp will this Sunday begin selling the “Lunar New Year Commemorative Smart Ticket Set’’ marking the Year of the Horse.
It includes two smart tickets priced at HK$68. One ticket features a traditional Chinese art form derived from the famous painting, Galloping Horse, by Chinese master Xu Beihong, and the other reproduces an original contemporary painting by American artist TY Wilkins.
Each set comes with a specially-designed ticket holder and 20 red packets with greetings for a successful Year of the Horse and the 35th Anniversary icon of MTR, the corporation announced.
These will be available for sale at all MTR and Light Rail Customer
Service Centres (except Airport Express, Lo Wu, Lok Ma Chau and Racecourse stations). Each customer is limited to two ticket sets only.
To celebrate the launch of the first commemorative “smart” ticket set, a special edition “Year of the Horse” faux leather card holder featuring the horse image created by TY Wilkins will also be on sale at a special price of HK$50 between January 12 and 31.
