Hang Seng finishes 2pc lower

Hong Kong stocks tumbled 2.24 percent on Friday following another weak set of data out of China that adds to concerns about the state of the world's number two economy.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index dived 522.77 points to 22,817.28 on turnover of HK$68.13 billion.
Chinese stocks closed down 1.24 percent. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropped 26.25 points to 2,083.14 on turnover of 72.4 billion yuan. --AFP
