(12-24 17:06)

China's medium lift utility helicopter the Z-20, is said to have made its maiden flight Monday at an airport in China's Northeast region, according to pictures uploaded by net users onto, one of the largest military forums in China, state media reported today.
China has been in need of a medium utility helicopter and the homemade Z-20, believed to have a capacity of 10 tons, will fulfil the demand.
Judging from the picture uploaded by Net users, the Z-20 is similar to the US produced Black Hawk, which the People's Liberation Army has been using for nearly 30 years.
