Positive start for Hang Seng, Shanghai

Stocks in Hong Kong climbed 0.54 percent at the start of trade, extending the previous day's gains, following another strong lead from Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index edged up 124.08 points to 23,045.64.
In Shanghai, shares were up 0.27 percent in morning trade, tracking record gains on Wall Street. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index climbed 5.70 points to 2,095.41.—AFP
