Positive close for Hang Seng, Shanghai falls

Stocks in Hong Kong climbed 0.32 percent in cautious trade ahead of a US Federal Reserve announcement early tomorrow Hong Kong time.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index was up 74.59 points at 23,143.82 on turnover of HK$52.06 billion.
In Shanghai, shares closed down 0.13 percent. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slid 2.79 points to 2,148.29 on turnover of 55.4 billion yuan.—AFP
