Hang Seng, Shanghai barely move

Stocks in Hong Kong opened flat today. Investors are treading water as they wait for the US Federal Reserve to wind up a policy meeting early morning tomorrow, Hong Kong time. The Hang Seng Index edged up 7.31 points to 23,076.54.
In Shanghai, shares were flat in morning trade. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.05 percent, or 1.17 points, to 2,149.91.—AFP
