Killer mini bus takes life of 43-year-old man

A 43-year-old man died early today in an accident involving a mini bus driven by a 81-year-old man in Sheung Shui. He sustained head injuries.
Police said at 2.15am, a public light bus driven by an 81-year-old man was travelling along Jockey Club Road towards Sheung Shui. As the bus approached a secondary school, it reportedly knocked down the 43-year-old man who was walking on the carriageway.
The man was rushed to North District Hospital and transferred to Prince of Wales Hospital in semi-conscious state and was certified dead at 3.05am.
