Regional sell-offs weigh on Hang Seng

Stocks in Hong Kong slipped 0.51 percent, in line with a regional sell-off after losses on Wall Street and ahead of next week's US Federal Reserve policy meeting.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index ended down 120.12 points at 23,218.12 on turnover of HK$71.50 billion.
In Shanghai, shares ended flat. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged down 1.37 points to 2,202.80 on turnover of 76 billion yuan.—AFP
