Social Democrats lawmaker defends egg attack
(12-09 17:32)

League of Social Democrats legislator Leung Kwok-hung has defended a fellow member of his party, who threw an egg that hit Financial Secretary John Tsang Chun-wah at a public forum on Saturday.
Tsang was sitting next to Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying on stage during a public consultation session on political reforms when an egg was hurled at his head.
The LSD legislator said the protester was not aiming at Tsang, and had not intended to hurt anyone.
He also disagreed with the Chief Executive, who condemned the protester's action, saying such behavior would not be seen in mature democratic societies. --RTHK
