Major HK sex ring smashed
(12-05 18:34)

The police say they've smashed a well-organized crime syndicate behind Hong Kong's biggest sex website. More than 100 people have been arrested, many of them said to be prostitutes.
Officers have seized over HK$3 million in cash and frozen bank accounts totalling HK$12 million suspected to be the proceeds of crime. Detectives say they've also confiscated a large quantity of computers and video clips in raids on about 40 premises.
Senior detective superintendent Au Chin-chau said the syndicate was very well organized. --RTHK
