Fung appointed as information co-ordinator
(12-03 17:09)

Former Democratic Party member Andrew Fung Wai-kwong has been appointed as the information co-ordinator, effective December 16.
Fung's responsibilities include formulating the media and public relations strategy, liaising with the Director of Information Services and bureau press officers.
Fung quit the party in August last year after he applied to be an undersecretary -- breaching his party's boycott of the government.
The Southern District Council member is managing director of a local public relations firm, PR Concepts Asia.
Fung has been criticized for lack of understanding of the integrity of journalists, and the public's right to access information.
Former Jockey Club PR chief June Teng Wai- kwan resigned in April, after serving as information coordinator for only nine months.
