|(Football) Abusive Blackpool manger Ince barred, fined
Blackpool manager Paul Ince will not be able to attend his side's next five Championship matches after he received a five match stadium misconduct ban from the Football Association.
The 45-year-old former Inter Milan, Manchester United and England midfielder –
who was in trouble earlier in the season being fined for remarks made about a referee – admitted to three charges of misconduct arising from the 2-1 win over Bournemouth on September 14.
He had also been charged with using abusive and/or insulting words and threatening words and/or behavior.
Ince was also fined US$6,400.
The suspension, which will begin with immediate effect, prevents the former England captain from attending matchdays, starting with the home game against Wigan on October 19.
It means Ince will not be present at a Blackpool game until November 30, when they entertain Sheffield Wednesday.—AFP
