|Three charged over inhuman slavery in Wales
Prosecutors have charged three men arrested following an appalling slavery scandal in Wales that has shocked the world.
The Crown Prosecution Service said Thomas Doran, Daniel Doran and David Daniel Doran are charged with false imprisonment, conspiracy to hold a person in servitude and conspiracy to require a person to perform forced or compulsory labor.
Thomas Doran also faces an additional charge of kidnapping by fraud.
Police have called the Wales slavery inquiry as "unprecedented,'' while the UK Home Office said it was determined to "tackle the scourge of modern slavery and the organized criminal gangs behind it.''
Meanwhile, more than 100 policemen combing farmlands in Wales near Newport, have found another alleged slavery victim who is a 60-year-old man.
So far, police have questioned seven people including a woman arrested in Wales.
On Monday, police raided three sites in south Wales including a land regarded by Newport Council as a site for gypsies and travellers.
The slavery shock comes as Wales struggles with the brutal murder of a child earlier.
In May, a man from Wales was found guilty of murdering a five-year-old girl, whose disappearance sparked a massive manhunt. Her body was never found.
