Hang Seng closes higher

Hong Kong stocks rose, following the mainland market that was lifted by property sector on clear views on curbs.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index finished 0.97 percent higher at 22,256.44, on turnover of HK$76.3 billion.
The China Enterprises Index of the top Chinese listings in Hong Kong jumped 2.2 percent.
Chinese shares also surged, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 2.66 percent to end at 2,317.37.
