IMF chief prods Cyprus to act on deal

International Monetary Fund chief Christine Lagarde urged Cyprus to meet its commitments under a bailout deal hammered out with euro zone partners at the weekend.
“It's time to deliver,'' Lagarde told a financial congress here as Cyprus re-examined plans to impose a controversial levy on bank deposits agreed as part of a 10 billion-euro sovereign bailout.- AFP
