Regulator seizes documents from securities broker

Brokerage firm Salisbury Securities Limited was suspended by Hong Kong Stock Exchange of the right to access the bourse's trading system, after the exchange operator was informed by the watchdog that the firm's activities are restricted.
The Securities and Futures Commission told HKEx that it has issued a restriction notice to Salisbury.
At around 1 p.m., officials from SFC seized documents from the firm's office in Central, RTHK reported.
A director of the firm declined to comment.
