Activists appear in court over unlawful assembly

Several activists have appeared in Eastern Court on separate charges of unlawful assembly and desecrating the Hong Kong flag, during protests on April 1 last year, RTHK reports.
One case involves the vice chairman of the League of Social Democracts, Avery Ng, who was charged with unlawful assembly along with another activist. In another case, two men were charged with attempting to desecrate the SAR flag.
