Manila killings survivors, families demand compensation
(03-18 17:07)
Some of the survivors and relatives of those who died in the Manila hostage massacre more than two years ago, have submitted a letter to the Philippine Consulate in Hong Kong demanding an apology and compensation, RTHK reports.
The group said if they didn't receive a response within 21 days, they'd initate legal proceedings in the High Court. Eight Hong Kong people were killed when a former policeman hijacked their tour bus and opened fire in August 2010 during a bungled rescue operation.
