New political aides appointed

The government has appointed a former district councillor Bernard Chan Pak-li as a political assistant at the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau. Chan was a DAB member when he was elected as a Kwun Tong District Councillor in 2007. He will work under the bureau secretary, Greg So Kam-leung, who is a former leader of the DAB.
The government has also appointed Philip Chiu Pit-lap -- a former executive of Goldman Sachs -- to be the political assistant of the Secretary of Financial Services and the Treasury, Ceajar Chan Ka-keung.
