Negative session for Nikkei

Stocks in Tokyo were down 0.51 percent after a mixed performance on Wall Street, while the yen strengthened against the dollar and the euro. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index shed 63.11 points to 12,251.70 by the break, while the Topix index of all first-section shares was down 0.41 percent, or 4.27 points, at 1,031.63. - AFP
