Former Morgan Stanley analyst Calvin Ho banned

The Securities and Futures Commission has banned Calvin Ho Kei-him, a former research associate at Morgan Stanley Asia Limited, from the industry for 14 months until May 11, 2014.
Ho was found failing to to identify and disclose to his employer all securities accounts related to him and the stock trading activities conducted through these accounts, the regulator said. He had also failed to to take adequate steps to avoid conflicts of interest between the stock trading activities in the securities accounts related to him and his employment as a research associate. Ho was also found to have made made false and/or misleading declarations in relation to outside securities accounts related to him, SFC said.
