Europe opens higher

Europe's main stock markets rose at the start of trading on Thursday, as traders looked ahead to monetary policy decisions due from both the ECB and Bank of England.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index gained 0.29 percent to 6,446.38 points, Frankfurt's DAX 30 won 0.19 percent to 7,934.19 points and in Paris the CAC 40 gained 0.20 percent to 3,781.45, AFP reports.
