Guangdong should use cleaner fuel: expert
(03-06 15:58)

A mainland respiratory diseases expert says Hong Kong air quality would only improve if Guangdong uses cleaner fuels. Zhong Nanshan urged the province to combat pollution while speaking on the sidelines of the National People's Congress meeting in Beijing, RTHK reports.
Commenting on the discovery of a new SARS-like virus in other parts of the world, he said so far there was no sign of the disease spreading among humans. He said if cases were found in Hong Kong, the most important thing would be to quarantine patients properly.
