Lift firm could face suspension

The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department is considering whether to suspend the license of the lift contractor responsible for maintaining a lift involved in an accident in North Point last Saturday.
Seven people were injured, one critically, when the lift plunged three floors at a commercial building in North Point, RTHK reports.
