House explosion kills three in Shanxi

Three people were killed and another four were injured in a house explosion in north China's Shanxi Province on Wednesday evening, local authorities said Thursday.
The accident happened at about 5:47 p.m. at a house in Xinjian Street, Fenyang City, a Fenyang municipal government official said, Xinhua news agency reports.
Illegal storage of detonators contributed to the explosion, according to initial investigation from the police.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
