Nikkei tumbles 1.3pc

Shares in Tokyo tumbled 1.37 percent as the lack of a clear winner in Italian elections fuelled concerns over more instability in the euro zone. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was down 160.22 points at 11,502.30 by the break while the Topix index of all first-section shares slipped 0.64 percent, or 6.28 points, to 974.42.- AFP
