(02-25 19:30)

Hong Kong Customs yesterday seized about 2 kilograms of methamphetamine at Lo Wu Control Point with an estimated street value of about $1.45 million. Two men, aged 19 and 20, were arrested in the operation, the authority said today.
Customs officers yesterday afternoon intercepted an incoming male passenger in the Customs Arrival Hall at Lo Wu Control Point. He was searched and the drugs were found wrapped at his back. Another male who accompanied the passenger, suspected to be involved in the case, was also arrested.
The two men claimed to be unemployed. They were jointly charged with one count of trafficking in a dangerous drug and will appear at the Fanling Magistrates' Courts tomorrow.
