(Oscar) Daniel Day-Lewis wins best actor for 'Lincoln'

Daniel Day-Lewis on Sunday won a record third best actor Oscar for his uncanny performance as the 16th US president in Steven Spielberg's political drama "Lincoln.''
Day-Lewis bested Bradley Cooper for "Silver Linings Playbook,'' Hugh Jackman for "Les Miserables,'' Joaquin Phoenix for "The Master,'' and Denzel Washington for "Flight'', AFP reports.
