Travel agent's chief fails to show up
(02-21 11:10)

The Executive Director of the Travel Industry Council, Joseph Tung Yiu-chung, has said he is disappointed that the owner of 3A Holidays -- the agency which left a mainland tour group to sleep overnight on a coach -- has failed to appear before the council's board meeting.
Wong Wing-kin was given until 10 o'clock this morning to appear.
Tung said he has received a call from Wong's daughter saying he was ill, RTHK reports.
Tung said it was now up to the board to decide whether to suspend the membership of 3A holidays, which would bar it from doing any business.
