More flats planned in Kwun Tong
(02-20 11:49)

The government plans to boost housing supply at the Anderson Road quarry - a future residential site in Kwun Tong. I
In a paper to the Legislative Council, the Development Bureau said the revised plan would increase the number of flats by 760 to about 9,400, and raise the population by 2,000 to 25,000. A bureau spokesman said this could be achieved by slightly adjusting the plot ratio and maximum building heights, RTHK reports.
An area intended for a primary school could be rezoned for private housing, increasing the number of residential sites to 11. The spokesman said the private-to-subsidised housing ratio of 80 to 20 would be unchanged and there would be no public housing.
