European shares irse on better German investor sentiment

European stocks and the euro rallied on Tuesday, propelled by news of soaring investor sentiment in eurozone powerhouse Germany, while investors awaited the return of Wall Street after a public holiday closure.
In late morning trading, London's FTSE 100 index of top companies rose 0.29 percent to 6,336.44 points, Frankfurt's DAX gained 0.70 percent to 7,682.33 points and in Paris the CAC 40 advanced 1.0 percent to 3,703.62, AFP reports.
