China auto output surges in Jan

China produced a total on 1,964,500 vehicles in January, up 51.2 percent from a year back, said the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers today.
In particular, a total of 1,621,200 passenger cars were made, up 53.9 percent from 12 months back, while commercial vehicles rose by 39.6 percent on-year to 343,300.
