Lawmakers want discussion on hotel rooms sales
(02-19 17:06)

Michael Tian Pak-sun, lawmaker of New People's Party, said he wrote to Legco's development panel requesting to discuss on the sales of hotel rooms by Cheung Kong Holdings. Tien said the sale involves rights and uses of lands, as well as other legal issues, and the impacts on Hong Kong locals and tourism. He hopes related officials can attend the meeting next Tuesday.
Civic Party's Kenneth Chan Ka-lok also wrote to the panel's chairman Lau Wong-fat, asking to add this item into the agenda for next week's meeting.
