Govt says 3A Holiday disappointing
(02-18 19:05)
The government said it is disappointed that the responsible person of 3A Holidays is still unable to explain the case in person.
In a statement, the government said Wong Kit, who claimed to be the General Manager of 3A Holidays Company Limited, made some comments this afternoon about the incident involving 3A Holidays. "According to the records of the Travel Agents Registry, he is not a shareholder, director or responsible person of 3A Holidays," the government said. Acting Commissioner for Tourism Rosanna Law Shuk-pui will not comment on his remarks, the government said.
The administration reiterated that the incident had adversely affected the reputation of the Hong Kong tourism industry and aroused the concern of the community. The Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong is urged to handle the case seriously.
