FS urged to make wise use of reserves
(02-07 16:33)

The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong is urging the Financial Secretary, John Tsang Chun-wah, to make use of the growing fiscal reserves and expected surplus of at least HK$50 billion this fiscal year to address long-term problems, RTHK reports.
But Marcellus Wong Yui-keung -- past-president of the institute -- says Tsang should not repeat last year's indiscriminate hand out of cash to all Hong Kong residents, RTHK reports.
