Hang Seng rebounds from slide

Hong Kong stocks rose 0.62 percent in early trade on bargain buying Wednesday after suffering a heavy loss in the previous session and following gains on Wall Street.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index gained 143.90 points to 23,292.43, AFP reports.
