A man who was believed to shoot two persons -- a 19-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy -- in Tin Shui Wai has been arrested. The girl had to undergo surgery to remove a lead pellet from her shoulder. The boy received stitches after being shot at the forehead.
Police seized four immitation guns and 730 rounds ofpellets at the suspect's home in Tin Hang Estate. One of the rifles has a range of 500 metres, police said.
Investigators are tracking down the source of the immitation guns, which will be checked to see if they have been modified.
