Senior Russian, Japanese officials meet

Russian First Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Denisov has met with Japan’s Vice Foreign Minister Chikao Kawai in Moscow.
The two countries are expected to exchange views on the Korean peninsula situation as the DPRK announced it is ready to conduct a nuclear test. The two sides will also outline Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s upcoming visit to Moscow, Xinhua news agency reports.
Japanese media has reported that Shinzo Abe might address an existing territorial dispute between the two countries.
